For Moritz Grossmann, the hour of its tenth anniversary strikes! A good reason to celebrate and an ideal time for the independent Glashütte watch manufactory to extend its ATUM line. The ATUM Pure Skull is a unique piece created by the master workshop that will delight any bold watch enthusiasts with its extravagant design.
The skull-shaped dial plays with a motif that has held symbolic power for centuries. From antiquity to modernity, it has been used in countless works of art as a symbol of the circle of life. Today the skull is far more than a cult object. It transcends from a symbol of transience to a celebration of life.
The Moritz Grossmann manufactory has designed the ATUM Pure Skull Extreme with characteristic elegance and subtle design language: the blackened stainless steel case extends to frame the outline of the skull. The handcrafted burnished skull forms the central focal point of the dial. The ATUM Pure Skull Extreme is encircled by a wide and striking chapter ring with Arabic numerals and indexes. The hands are handmade from stainless steel and filled with brown HyCeram filling which is flat polished to match the skull.
The brown calfskin strap harmonises with the face of the watch. The Pure Classic finish calibre 201.1 with its impressive mechanics is being revealed on the back of the case.
The ATUM Pure Skull Extreme is an excellent example of how Moritz Grossmann combines the art of watchmaking with contemporary design. The result is “Schönstes deutsches Handwerk” meaning ‘the most beautiful German craftsmanship’: timepieces made to the highest standards of craftsmanship that move people in the present and are made for eternity.
The ATUM Pure Skull Extreme is offered with the calibre 201.1 in Pure Classic finish as a single edition 1 of 1.
